out of pure curiosity, how do you, the viewer, like it more? when the line is done clean n neat with a pen, like this, or rather when its done in a more messy way with a pencil but it feels a bit more alive due to the texture it gives, like in some of my other recent stuff? Ive been having a blast drawing strictly with a pencil recently because I really like the feel it gives, though, obviously, clean pen allows for more precise lines and such, which in return can potentially make the piece being of better quality
^^ Honestly, as an artist myself, i think you should draw the way that brings out the most of you, if you are having fun with pencil and like the way it feels, go for it!
^^^ As said before, I think it depends on the person. If I'm talking personal preference on what I see, then I don't really mind either way, both have their respective uses and both can feel really neat to look at if they fit with the artstyle.
yea as I said it was just a matter of curiosity and nothing more; I do enjoy trying different things all the time and playing around with a variety of tools and styles, and the way the line is done is just one of the significant (in my eyes) things that I just wondered whether anyone really pays any attention to or not, obviously its mostly the matter of preferences, but regardless, thanks for the feedback :)
