I wouldn't go as far as awful, but I definitely would have preferred to just have upscaled textures and a higher poly model on the old ones.

Frenni, bonfi and type 0 are fantastic. The others are good still, but their of versions are better

Personally, I love Bonfie, Chiku and Type 0.
Frennie and Marie are allright and I think Fexa is a really big downgrade (except the pants, I loce them)

I think Bonfie and Marie are fine, Frenni, Fexa, and Type-0 are downgrades, and Chiku is still cute but I adore the original design. Ultimately I prefer the original designs pretty universally
