melieconiek is pretty middle of the road, yeah. Don't get me wrong, they aren't the WORST I've ever seen, but they haven't really made any meaningful improvements to their art style basically since they hit the scene. The faces still look as weird as they did when some of their first stuff came out, not to mention some of the kinda messy linework. They'd really shine if they put a hold on animating to improve their static style a little, but hey, animating brings in the patreon bucks, so I can't knock it.

Coniek definitely has improved in the animation aspect, but yeah their actual art has basically been the same

This isn't mid. The expressions are very cute, there's a lovely atmosphere to it.
The artstyle isn't amazing, but animation is very hard work so that's a place where you just have to decide what to focus on.
I enjoy it because they look very cute together, and the artstyle fits a kind of comfy amateur sex vibe.
