Plantiphobis: a dangerous creature for women that lives underground but feeds on the surface. It lurks on unwary victims, then when one accidentally steps on its tentacles often hidden under tall grass, the creature catches her and drags her underground to its lair. Plantiphobis feeds on the milk from a woman's breasts, so in order to feed, it must first fertilize the woman through sexual intercourse. It deposits its egg in the woman's womb, and once this happens it can take advantage of the young mother's lactation to drink the life-giving milk. To intensify milk production, the plantiphobis regularly fertilizes its prey, so that the average woman can have up to six eggs in her womb. After hatching, the young plantiphobis leaves its mother's body and mates with its father becoming one organism, joining, as it were, in the process of parasitizing the kidnapped woman. The victim is held until she dies of exhaustion. Then her dead body is thrown to the surface and begins hunting for new food.
