The story I imagine: After beating the furious five, Tai Lung interrogates the furious five about Po, the scroll, everything. After learning Po was weak, the scroll was fake, and Oogway ruined his life over nothing, he sought to take the next best thing, Shifu's most talented disciple.
In exchange for the safety of the valley, Tigress must submit to him every night, and he will let them claim they defeated him and left his corpse in that valley.
Tigress didn't agree at first, but Tai Lung proceeded to breed her violently and forcefully in front of the rest of the five, and only after he painted her womb for the first time, and started to move towards Viper, did she believe they truly couldn't stop him.
