I didn't play Mass Effect 3 but in ME2 Jacob seemed like a fine character to me, shame the fanbase never seemed to care about him.

Simpler times. People back then wanted games to be 10/10 and a 9.5/10 game like ME2 was the reason many players got a super meltdown. They trash-talked Jacob and hated him so much lmao. Meanwhile the issue was just that he was a lil bit boring, but they acted like he suffered from Star Wars Episode 8 tier writing

Jacob was a bit bland in ME2, but the reason most players hate him is that he'll cheat on FemShep, get another woman pregnant, and then break up with FemShep during his ME3 mission. Because apparantly 6 months was too long to wait for someone.
