Why is she considered ugly in the show again? I know this isnt anything close to the normal art style, but even then she just looks average at worst.

@HornyMuFugga It's because she's not conventionally attractive and her weird behavior makes her an easy target. She's described as average looking with breasts on the small side and a big ass, standing at only 4'7" tall. She doesn't typically wear makeup except for lipstick and suposedly nobody would buy her deodorant when she hit puberty. Meg doesn't go out of her way to look more attractive than she has to so people make fun of her by comparing her to Lois and Connie who put on tons of makeup and have big boobs and small asses. It really says something when Meg gets a makeover and becomes a sensation that people find stunning when all they really did was give her a more feminine outfit, give her mascara, and dye her hair blonde.

@HornyMuFugga Brian mentions in the episode that Meg should be angry at God for giving her a mother like Lois and yet inherited her looks from Peter, so that may have something to do with it.
