Funny thing about that, the Spongebob episode itself actually never did anything for me, I've used the snail plasma a couple times as the context for the TF pretty much just because that's what people were gonna be thinking of anyway, like how not all blueberry TFs use the Wonka gum but it's still considered to be the "origin." As far as transformations involving eyestalks go the Buzz Lightyear of Star Command episode The Crawling Flesh had waaaaay more of an effect on me
