^^ A whole lot of people grew up on Jungle Book, where Kaa, the snake was able to hypnotize the main character into almost being eaten. Than the audience grew up, with some growing a hypnosis fetish, a smaller group in them liking dangerous situations like almost being eaten by a snake, a smaller group in them being good artists, than they remember Kaa and boom.
