Halloween, Halloween. Bruce hates Halloween. He loves the celebration of it all, of course. In the day time, he'll pass out candy to sick children in hospitals and before the cursed day he would raise fundraisers to throw a big Halloween party in Gotham. It wasn't Halloween itself that Bruce hated, rather how his rogue's gallery treated it. It was the busiest day of the year for him, so much so that even Tim and Barbara weren't always big helps. Scarecrow would release some deadly toxin on the town, Riddler would play 'find the pigs' all night, and worst of all Poison Ivy would throw a fit at teens for destroying the pumpkins of the planet, then send an army of weak minded teenagers his way that he'd have to subdue. Once they were dealt with, Batman approached Ivy. He realized, as he got closer just how nervous she seemed to be. She begged him to stop the pranksters of the night from damaging anymore plants, and in return, she would.. reward him. A break on a night like this? He'd take it.
