Fun facts with Cocke: Early cars were started with something called a hand crank, which was on the front of the car. The first car to use an electric starter (which is used in all cars now) was the Cadillac Model 30.

To add to that Cocke, someome actually died from that handcrank, they let go of it and it hit their temple at max speed. Also many injuries led to it being developed into what it is today.
