I like Mr.Tucket's work, he may not be using the newer more HD models but I argue that what's make his work special... You see Boris his works invokes that sort of a twisted sense of nostalgia where graphics were trying to be realistic and stylized at the same time... It just feels nostalgic and erotic to see characters you've seen and played with during the good old days.
^I check the half-life tag frequently just to see if theres anything new from him! Like you said its just very nostalgic seeing these models. But theyre slightly altered and he makes them look so good somehow. Its like something actually from one of the games. I think that really adds a lot!
