I usually use ranged with shroomite armor, and use chlorphyte bullets.

Just use the grenade launcher from plantar and grapple to the ceiling with shromitite armor and the helmet that boosts explosion damage

I also recommend a good arena. Take care of the arms first with a weapon that pierces, like terra blade or rocket launcher. After you fight golem, fight them again to get the relatively good loot.
