The headstrong young Togrutan Jedi had finally built up the courage to act on her mentor Aayla's advice. All the Twi'lek Master had told Ahsoka was 'train with the clones'. But being Jedi and alien, she had always felt different and awkward when surrounded by the human clones. She respected them, valued them, trusted them with her life, but she never felt exactly welcome. However, after stepping outside her comfort zone to train with the clone troopers and treat them as people, as men first, rather than the soldiers and the disposable assets the Jedi and Republic Senate viewed them as, Ahsoka found herself welcomed with open arms! The clones loved training with her, and through her efforts, she found their respect for her greatly increased, just like Master Secura had told her! Ahsoka was getting addicted to these special hands on training sessions with the Republic soldiers!! She was always sore, exhausted, and satisfied at the end of their workouts! It was the best ever!
Certainly an interesting form of training, but the results can't be scoffed at. Maybe I should take the initiative and follow this same path for myself, though my Master doesn't see the same value in it.
