Actually, Suki this is a really interesting thought! See for Dragon Ball Super, Akira Toriyama didn't directly create the anime or the manga! Instead he just made plans and character designs, letting Toei and Toyotaro handle the anime and manga respectively. This leads to a lot of differences between the two forms of media. For example the goku black arc was changed radically from its 2 interpretations, but they still have similar story beats.
