This is hot and all but I can't stop thinking about how the Nintendo 3ds Eshop is shutting down next year meaning It won't be possible to transfer Pokemon to the newest games from your 3ds :(

Unfortunately Rei, it is. Unless Nintendo does something consumer friendly (HA) and allows you to transfer your Pokemon without an account your Pokemon are stuck.
