If he actually did have 4th degree burns, his face would just be bone. I assume the artist got 4th degree confused with 1st degree, which is usually red, sensitive skin. That, or 2nd degree, which is the same as 1st degree but with large yellow blisters across the affected area

But yes, it absolutely would be worth it to get 1st degree burns if it means a Blaziken can sit on my face. I've gotten 2nd degree burns on my shoulders for staying out in the sun for 10 hours straight before, so I could definitely take 1st degree burns

The artist didnt confuse anything, they just made an incredible Jazzpunk reference! And probably sanitized a 4th degree burn to something more like 1st or 2nd so were not distracted by straight up gore
