I believe she is being killed here. Dip is the one thing that will kill a toon. Just watch the movie.

First thats not even the same colour of the dip, and second her legs would have already have been melted if that was dip.

Iratecelt and RedOctoling are both partially correct.In the comic, it's dip, and she is being killed. However, it is NOT the standard liquid dip seen in the film; rather, Jessica is being attacked by a dip/slime hybrid monster, somewhat reminiscent of The Blob. While the exact ratio of dip-to-slime is not specified in the comic, the monster's body seems to be diluted enough that Jessica does not dissolve right way.
