Hmm... Does anyone else feel that Nintendo missed a great opportunity for breath of the wild to be a co-op game?

Like for single player you could switch back and forth as Link and Zelda. Then in multiplayer one play's as (Link the warrior) and the other play's as (Zelda the mage).

Zelda isn't a fighter in Breath of the Wild. It would also defeat the purpose of Link is Zelda is perfectly capable of saving the day. Why bring Link back to life at all?
