Admittedly yea I only watched up to season 5 I'll still watch it but it has lost it's charm

Yeah, the series had some heavy growing pains since Monty's death. I think I can say that volume 6 is a return to form.

It still has it's lackluster moments, but the fights (the main draw of the series) have steadily improved. Yang versus Raven's bandits in V5 was a good one. The leadup to the finale of V6 has another great fight, which I'd daresay is close to Monty levels. The storytelling gets more focused and is generally better, too.

If you're talking about the Blake/Yang versus Adam fight, that was actually plannes out by Monty before his death.

Also, I would like to point out that I've had more civil conversations about the show on this site than places like Reddit, and I find that both hilarious and depressing.
