I never watched all the pkmn anime, just season 1 and whatever season unova is. Can someone tell me why these two are often paired together? Was something said? I need closure. Anyone?
hi anon, these pair are from the 4th gen of pokemon gen/diamond and pearl (sinnoh) anime. in the anime they have no connection, but in the games the smol girl is the female platable character and le blondie is the champion of sinnoh (she's also the champion in le anime)
In the game Cynthia pays a lot of attention to the player character, showing up at random times to chat and help out during plot-critical moments. Dawn is one possible player character. Some people then interpreted that as "Cynthia is weirdly obsessed with Dawn". In the anime Cynthia also invited Dawn to live at her villa in Unova for a while. Kind of weird for a grown woman and a 10-year-old.
