@anon2: It's Daz3D, which is free to use but they make it up though micro transactions for assets, such as those seen here. It's not a modeling program precisely, but an application used for posing and rendering preexisting assets. That's to say StevenCarson didn't model Triss and Yennifer from scratch. He acquired base models, posed them, set up the background lighting, and probably cranked those breast and butt sliders way the hell up.

The models/assets that are compiled in Daz originate from programs like Maya, Blender, 3DS max, and Zbrush.

Yeah it's essentially better SFM but you have to pay for some stuff unless you find them on other websites.

^ Sort of, except that daz is pretty much terrible for animating. There's certainly less of a learning curve than Blender though.
