A lot of people seem to forget Yancy exists. Or perhaps, a lot of people don't even know she exists in the first place. To even meet her, you have to be playing as a male character, and examine a specific spot on the ground in a certain place, then you have to go through a long sidequest to get to know her and eventually meet in person to give her back the thing she dropped, then go through a bunch of other hoops to start seeing the implications that she's in love with you. She's the very first love interest for the player character in a Pokemon game, but man is it obtuse to even find that out to begin with.
