Nyx's design was planned for DE devs to make alternative gender for excalibur,this plan failed due that it would mean devs would have to make alternative sex for each warframe.
SO nyx isn't excalibur but opposite gender(since their lore and skills aren't same).
And where did you find that Equinox is trans,all resources i found both lore and wiki tell about her as SHE and HER.

equinox's day and night forms were actually supposed to be different genders before the frame was released, as in one would be male and one would be female. this idea was scrapped however while equinox was in development and now both forms are female.

i still headcanon equinox as trans though
