I really like these two together because it's so obvious that Ciri is way out of this guy's league, both in terms of looks and social standing (she's nobility and he's a peasant). She basically gives him a pity kiss in the game (at least there's an option to do that). I don't think she had any intention of sleeping with him. But trust me, even if a girl like Ciri only kisses you out of pity that means she's a really good woman. Most beautiful girls wouldn't think twice about rejecting a guy like Skjall but at least Ciri cares. She probably knew that kiss was the best thing that ever happened to the poor guy. That's one of the reasons I find her character so likeable.

I just played this part of the game again and now I see that my view on them was completely skewered by how I decided to let the scene play out. Turns out Ciri didn't reject his ass, I did xD. Guess I just figured she was too good for him. When you choose the other dialogue options it actually sounds like she might have slept with him. Still, it was his first and only kiss, not out of pity per se, but still the best thing that ever happened to him I bet. What am I doing, talking to myself...
