I live in a predominantly asian area. Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Philippine, etc Japanese tend to be horizontal, downward Chinese tend to be horizontal, with rare instances of upturned. Koreans I have never seen exhibit any slant in any direction. In southeast asia I have seen LOCAL trends of slanted eyes but they are provincial not racial. In all examples, they are exceptions not norms, though it does happen. My source is living in a port city for 20+ years where about 2/3rds are asian of some type
