She is originally human, Chozo later added their DNA to Samus to improve her combat and survivability skills, she don't make nest and lay egg :D and even half-breed can reproduce and give birth to new breed.

Well, Catwoman. If other's are going to call it out I will too. Samus herself has gone through at least two situations that would render her infertile. And each happening in a different timeline.

But before that, she is technically both male a female, having chozo DNA from a male chozo being mixed with her own DNA. This could overall cause her bodily functions to mess up to the point of causing infertility and her backstory is the only aspect that runs from both sides. She never has a kid throughout the series but a maternal instinct is still active in her, as shown with the super metroid.

The first is being physically melded with a super metroid in the game Super Metroid. This would arguably cause her body to reject her eggs due to the parasitic nature of the entire metroid race. This happens in the actual metroid timeline that includes the first three games and fusion.

Metroid Prime 3 has her becoming corrupt with phazon, which would cause infertility. She wouldn't be able to reproduce at all.

But, on the upside. She can have unprotected sex all she wants as long as she's safe about who she sleeps with (stds).
