I overall just think it's funny how when people use the term "Mary Sue" they're pretty much describing all fictional characters in history. There's pretty much always been a situation (At least once) where the Protagonist should not have come out of a situation victorious as the way the should have.
The only reason why she's called a Mary Sue is we couldn't just get a new female Star Wars protagonist - she had to EARN her right to be a protagonist, because woman character. There is no commonly used term for a male who people think is too good too quickly. So they say it to remind people that they're still outraged the main character is a woman. The only reason she's "overpowered" and "doesn't earn it" is that rather than having no force powers and having to learn how to get force powers in Jedi, she has force powers, but is terrified of them and can't control them.
You know honestly, what really bugs me about the female characters in the new movies? They're just not attractive. They're not interesting as characters and they're not pleasant to look at. At all. Even Rey is bleh.
she is a mary sue especially after the last jedi jynn erso is a better rey then actual rey. but I still love daisy rian johnson made her character boring dull and perfect at everything dont know if jj can save it in the next movie.

Anakin is the most insufferable little mary sue/Gary Stu in pretty much every portrayal the annoying bratty little cunt pops up inCouldn't have a more generic angsty personality, all his turn to the dark side seemed like a bratty spoilt git becoming more shrill and bratty, and him being a fucking "chosen one" like some anime villain to explain his vast power gap over others? Pfffffttt
