They're just artifacts from low polygon models bending at extreme angles, and genital props poking through the mesh (they aren't baked into the character models. Most fappers couldn't care less.

You can tell from Tifa's pelvis that he did some sort of multiple model merging... at least try to hide it... A for effort though
