I wonder why HotS and Overwatch developers keep portraiting Nova with blue color of eyes when her eyes are actually green in StarCraft lore (games, comics, novels) since beginning. It's really hilarious that people working in Blizzard are so ignorant and inconsistent with their own characters look. Or are they just blind?

I would imagine that any inconsistencies would be because of an alternate universe thing.

Alternate universe is not excuse. Many others heroes looks pretty correct (even in details like hair or eyes color) to their canonic image from original Blizzard universes. Somehow Nova is exception. It seems developers who made her model in HotS (and OW afterwards) didn't check her look from StarCraft 2 and just made mistake.
And now almost any artist or cosplayer use wrong HotS referense and portray Nova with blue eyes (and very long ponytail) instead of canonic green... Which is wrong and shame. :(
