Why is this labeled gore? Did she get hit in the head with the bat and dyeing due to internal swelling of the brain? R*ped? Confused.

red spot under her on the ground and a smoking gun, no visible wound though

Perhaps she got shot in the mouth, or that was her gun and she missed?
