Miranda was confused as she saw the dog in front of her door, she had called for Shepard to come to her quarters, but instead here was a dog, after a little pondering she simply led the dog inside and figured she would still make use of him.

I would prefer the fact that she desperately need someone to fuck her since shepard is left (between the mass effect 2 & 3) and now she fucked at least one member of every species of the galaxy (even krogan ^^) she want to fuck something new so she go to buy a dog especially for her ! :p
