Its called nier automata for ps4...also I wouldnt say the first nier had a cliffhanger it had multiple endings..none of them happy

Nier: Automata is a Platinum game.
Sorry, but I don't think Nier 2 will happen the way you want. Looks more like Vanquish than Drakengard.

it is a Platinum game but they brought over people from the original to work on it (clover) which is likely the same reason they dropped it from the xbox 1. also I liked vanquish to an extent
