I'll say it again to your highness with the infinite wisdom. Its all about the visual depicted in the drawing and not necessarily a show it is based on. Its like looking at a Picasso painting; 100 viewers = 100 different interpretations. Don't limit your perceptions of reality because, (remember this); "It's always in the mind of the beholder."
Since when is objectivity important in a fantasy show? Now if one was discussing the merits of Quantum Theory or the Theory of Relativity I could understand being objective but a cartoon fantasy show??? Whats the come thread here? """FANTISY""" --> Get a grip.
And as others have stated ignoring objective fact is simply delusional. I'm all for the concept of "death of the author" or in this case artist but ignoring established fact? That's just silly. You could make the argument that all fan works ignore established fact but most of us know it isn't canon so ;p.
Most of us prefer seeing Chase with Iris you wanna see Chase with a femboy fine but don't go claiming art that clearly doesn't depict that has it.
