Shadow should've stayed dead after SA2.

Well yes, but actually no. I think it was intended by sonic team to let him stay dead and that would certainly increase the sadness of that moment and would make Shadow's sacrifice a lot more valuable. However, they saw that everyone liked Shadow waaay too much so they decided to bring him back. I can't really tell if this is a good or a bad thing, but I love Shadow and it's always nice to see him in more games.

Damn it, now I want to play Shadow the Hedgehog again, I played it A LONG time ago back when I was like...9? I actually got all the endings EXCEPT the Final Ending, I just got stuck at a jumping Puzzle...
Im pretty sure he was supposed to die but fans kept him alive with Shadow The Hedgehog.
Too bad the game is mediocre at best with everyone ripped straight from Heroes. I like it tho lmao

Prior to Heroes, his personality didn't change that much.
Honestly Shadow the hedgehog is a very interesting game. Though the limited story stages you got Tons of routes like in a visual novel based on how you clear the stage
