The Homestuck music team (homestuck.bandcamp.com/music) - sort of in the video game OST genre, but for a webcomic (www.homestuck.com, you should read it) and with more variety in style. It features some of the earlier work of Toby Fox of Undertale fame.
The Mountain Goats - indie folk rock with amazing lyrics. Their best known song is probably No Children (youtu.be/Vm-NW1RwPY8), which is basically the opposite of a love song.
The New Pornographers - The name has nothing to do with the purpose of this site. Check out their new album Challengers, it's pretty good.
