This happen often?
People message you clearly with the intention to talk or RP.
You reply then they never say anything ever again.

Sure nobody is obligated to continue but at least let the other person know your no longer interested/invested in talking.

Happens all the time. Heh, I've had RPs in the past where my partner and I only send 1 message every week or so.

Lmao
That must have been fun.

Imagine waiting a week for a 1 word response.

That would be unacceptable. I don't even entertain 1-2 word replies as is.

Even if it's not an rp, they say that they wanna talk. But a message or two later, it's quiet.

Happens to all, I think it's cuz of getting bored of for some irl reasons and probably forgot or just maybe doesn't want to continue late

Also might be a lack of a notification feature. It's why I personally prefer Discord once someone becomes a regular contact.

You don't even know WHEN they sent a message and that makes everything more confusing.

I've been meaning to start an account on discord for a while, and yet I still haven't managed to get around to it

actually when you are on your pc and go to your messages received and hover your mouse of the date for a few seconds(aka yesterday, 2 days ago, ect...) it will show up at which time they sent the message thought on my end it shows up as GMT 0 and my time zone is gmt+2 so add a bit of math into it

Been on both ends of that. I message people and so many people simply vanish and are never heard from again, or they message me and some of them just stop talking only to pop up way later.
