Things people are glad aren't a thing.

General thread about things that you all are glad aren't a thing, on the site or irl.

My on-site thing I'm glad isn't here is a Sakura (aka Hitokiri) rp account here, simply because that fucking demon scares me.

The rumored second season of Cowboy Bebop. The original series had a perfect ending as far as the narrative went and every character had their stories completed by the time the series was finished.

The rumored sixth arc for the Sailor Moon anime, for the same reasons. I'm also happy that the Sailor Moon movie that Joss Whedon was trying to get off the ground didn't happen, that would have been pretty god awful.

I'm happy that Pocahontas doesn't have a live action remake because that would be really problematic in today's culture... especially if they go for the trend of trying to be a bit more realistic with their portrayals of those societies as well as the historical events that happened.

At least not the western one. Though I'm not happy that the version of Evangelion that had Robin Williams as Gendo wasn't created.

Just because you don't understand DmC: Devil May Cry doesn't mean that it needs to be banned from existence. DmC: Devil May Cry had a better plot than the main series combined in that one game.

Just because you don't understand DmC: Devil May Cry doesn't mean that it needs to be banned from existence. DmC: Devil May Cry had a better plot than the main series combined in that one game.

Edgier doesn't mean better... the plot and writing in DmC are unintentionally bad, while the writing in the rest of the franchise is intentionally over the top and melodramatic.

Yes, and the main series is not as clear as DmC Devil May Cry. Just because people can't understand the intentions of it doesn't mean that it's worse. Barring DMC 5, I found DmC Devil May Cry to be the best in the series because breaking tradition.
