Anyone else have characters that make you both aroused and sad? (for whatever reason, they die, etc) Am I weird for this?

I think there was one hentai I found, Rinkan Club I think it's called. One of the characters in it, Maki, is basically a friend of the antagonist, and just for that she gets constantly raped and basically mentally tortured. Normally I myself get very wet and this idea, but because she literally did nothing to deserve it and was also an innocent adorable lil bean, I can't help but hate the 'protagonist', if you can call her that.
