I have been changing 1girls to 1girl on any posts I encountered thinking I am doing the right thing and I am sure I am not the only one. I hadn't even realized there was a bug in the alias system. I actually didn't even know there was a forum, mostly because I never looked for one. With bugs like this, isn't the alias system doing more harm than good and should it not just be disable entirely?

To my understanding it can't be turned off, but we have stopped accepting new suggestions to be aliased. This will prevent further damage at least.
Also I have been messaging users I find swapping out 1girls, so you must be lucky.
