Looking particular Artist with dark skin taste?
Hello everyone I'm no artist, more of a lover of "lewds" and the occasional requester of commissions from you talented people out there. The point of this topic is about finding and understanding the artist themselves and what can you do for them and vice versa.

Here we go, I am a major lover of ebony and dark skin characters, women specifically. However, I've notice that some artist have trouble adjusting to certain skin tones/ complexions, particularly dark skin. If you call out someone for drawing/painting a character skin that's not in your favor, please do not call them out on racism, that should be the last thing on your mind. Instead look through their past work and figure out why. . .

So why am I telling you this? Well due to my particular taste, searching for th at specific niche is a bit difficult. I tend to go to artist who are knowledgeable and/or experienced in that field, and when I do run into those who are inexperienced in drawing dark skin characters, I tell them I totally understand and not make much of a fuss about it then the simple thing I do is move onto the next artist. Most of the time I just don't engaged them at all. Number 1 thing is to never waste each other's time! Anyways, some would actually take up that challenge. So we discuss and give each a helping hand on where to go about(not in that way mind you lol). Here's a color scale that I thought would deem vital to share during some discussion I had long ago:

This video is about tattoos actually, but it's very informative meshing shade range with certain colors: www.youtube.com/watch?v=XIj0hfv0NbA&t=826s

In short I hope this piece of information is helpful to you as a consumer and the artist your requesting commissions from. Now don't go demanding things like they owe something. Respect, request and negotiate. If not move one.
