Ok so here is the deal not that long ago i read a topic on lulz.net that because paheal is so damn slow many uploaders are going to migrate here because so far there haven't been even one connection issue. unlike 502 and 503 errors that keep occurring on paheal. This means that all new stuff will be uploaded to booru instead of paheal and paheal will loose new uploads. I believe some interfags from paheal declared a war on booru and keep deleting tags for new uploaded images. Mostly anime stuff but some toon smut is without tags now as well. I keep checking time to time and the amount of untagged images is growing. Especially since i've seen few times that a image that was tagged later disappeared from those tags and ended up with "tagme" There should be a option to lock image from further tags so that only uploader sets the rules. And in case of abuse tags it should be removed by admin.

I already banned all anon editing because somebody/multiple people destroyed all tags on 50k images. I reverted this by using a tool to sync all tags from other booru's.

Its going to be hard to stop this bullshit but not impossible.

Yeah sadly there are kids and pathetic man kids who do malicious things like that, but rest assured we shall deal with the kiddies and boot them out the door because they surely don't belong here.

So i guess there's nothing left to do but to wait this one out. Still it would be great if there was some kind of tag lock or something.

Still, if you see tags being vandalized just give us the link/image ID so we can check tag history and ban the user.

I was about to say, you must have some kind of logs to show who did it. Hopefully, no more anon tagging stops it.
