Since you mentioned it I've got to ask- Why did you get circumcised later than most people do?

I've heard that's fairly common in the US, but that's the only body part where any infection leads straight to removal rather than simply treating the infection with antibiotics, etc., as one would with any other body part such as a pinky finger or toe.


I've known a few guys who got circumcised as adults and for them a bit of clean gauze wrapped around it, at least until the stitches came out, was more than adequate. I have never heard of a penis cast before.
