Alvar takes another sips from hus bottle, the he look at Bjorn in the eyes and says "That is true and infact i'm not here to make some deals but to recover an Infernal artifact, i know for sure that its shards are here in this city and kingdom"

"Try the sealed vaults that rest a quarter of a mile below Chetrem, and they run a little ways under the city. Chetrem is one of the largest places in Vallara, so the rulers have had plenty of manpower and time to start building up their wealth by ransacking other kingdoms." Bjørn replied evenly, taking a long pull from his bottle before moving it away from his lips, now empty.

Vysera scratched her head and groaned in annoyance, she eyed the contracts lying in her lap and let out a small huff, blowing the dark strands away out of her eyesight. "That old fart gave me difficulty contracts, no matter I'll just have to use different ways to finish them makes it more exciting anyways~" she said happily then stood up folding the papers and placing them into her pocket then Vysera outstretched her arms slowly moving them across her body, a purple glow would illuminate as the fabric of her clothing began to change and shift into thicker material making herself suited for winter. "Ugh, Leianne is going to be so lackluster.."

"That is a good idea,and look since you seem a very powerful being, can you help me ? I will really own you one if you help me with this thing" Alvar says finishing his ale

"Well, being owed a favour by a demon has a lot of weight. I’ll agree, but on one condition: You do what I say no matter what. I’ve got more experience in exploring caves, and with my being what I am, I’m much better suited to being the leader." Bjørn said as he stood up, stretching his muscles as his height and appearance had a lot more impact to Alvar, being in close proximity to the demon. "Besides, chances are that you might step on a trap you didn’t sense, and whether it be crafted or magical, there probably won’t be much of a body to send back to whoever holds your leash."

It turned out that the winter gear was rather unnecessary for a while, as the route that was taken to get to Leianne had been quite popular, with very disturbing consequences. The ground itself was damn near glowing with latent magical energy, wrought from someone steeped in unimaginable grief and anger, and it was both skilled and powerful hands that had wrought the carnage before Vysera. Only partway travelled down this path and there were dozens of bodies, both man and magical creature alike, and though some of the creatures were serious powerhouses in the magical circle of things, they were literally torn to bloody pieces, and yet there were no carrion birds or bugs around, only the stench of death and terror. Further along the signs of destruction became more prevalent and disturbing, all culminating into a very terrifying and disturbing truth as the massive fire scorched skeleton of a serpentine dragon partially blocked the road, the path completely clear behind the blackened bones of the once great beast: Something tore apart bandits, soldiers, sorcerers and magical creatures alike apart in rage and grief that permeated the air Vysera breathed, and the ground she walked upon, and not even a dragon, a member of a race of majestic beings so steeped in magical power and energy even the demons and angels had a respect for them, was able to stop this force that torched its body to blackened bones, but apparently killed it beforehand as evidence by the skull missing its lower jaw, and at an angle that suggested the dragon's neck was snapped. And there was no fresh corpse on the path, so whatever caused this brutality was still alive and most definitely kicking.

"Well as lons as i got the shards in the end , i'm fine with this" he says calmly looking at the imposing man

"Oh I want nothing to do with those shards, Hell can keep its artifacts. God would probably have words with the current ruler of Hell if word let slip that some human or other creature of this earth got hold of a demonic artifact and caused quite a ruckus with it, and in that event everyone and everything on earth gets the short end of the stick in that deal. Now go wait at the city limits, there are several caves that happen to lead to a nexus, and the biggest tunnel is guarded because it leads to one of the Vault's many entrances. I need to go grab some extra supplies for this particular endeavour." Bjørn explained as he gestured to Alvar with his blade, before placing it back in its scabbard, although it was done with such reverence that it was almost as though it was a gift from someone he loved.

Alvar smiles "you are a very wise men indeed, very well i will do as you say, i really look forward for this our little adventure Bjorn ,oh and since you are the one doing me a favour please let me pay for all the supplies you need for the mission"

"I have gold in plenty, demon. If I gathered all my wealth I’d be able to buy a large part of the city, maybe a fifth. And that’s using gold alone, that’s not accounting for the jewels and other shinies I’ve collected and earned over the years, wit that I’d be able buy a quarter or even a third of Edeas. Granted that’s buying it, not accounting for upkeep and the like. So while I thank you for your gracious offer, I must sadly decline." Bjørn rumbled as he started walking away from Alvar.

"Oh thats fine, see you then out of the city Bjorn" then Alvar starts walk away, going towards the direction of one of the main gates of the city

"Alright, now despite me being able to see in the dark, most demons cannot do so. So torches will be required, maybe some rope as well, no idea what his limitations are, and falling fifty feet and sticking the landing breaks the legs of most beings." Bjørn said to himself as he went and gathered supplies for cave exploration.

After Alvar walked through the main gate, he walks a few meters off the road and light up a cigar , waiting gor Bjorn

Bjørn came out through the main gate twenty minutes later, and handed the supplies to Alvar. "You earn your keep this way, I can’t be as mobile when I’m strapped with fifty extra pounds of gear."
