Jolteon is my absolute favorite, followed closely by Typhlosion. Pidgeot, Latios, Kyogre, Poliwhirl, and Skarmory are also up there.

I almost always go with fire-type starters. I just have a very offense-based playstyle, hitting first and hitting hard, and think fire-types are well suited to that.

Also while Bidoof isn't my favorite, he's a stupid looking pokemon that I like and if any of you folks ever received a Bidoof by the name of "Fruit Loop" through Wonder Trade back in Gen 6 & 7, it was 100% from me since I did flood Wonder Trade with hundreds of them.
