Super Smash Bros. chat

So, with the announcement of Smash 5, I decided to start up a Smash Bros. topic on the forum, for those that don't know:Smash Bros. is a fighting game where Nintendo (and sometimes others) characters duke it out in fights where you must knock the other character off the edge.
You can talk about whatever you want as long as it relates to Smash Bros.

I mean, pretty much everyone who heard the name of the game could figure the theme out, if not what it belongs to. Besides, it isn't quite right. Every character is in a sense from Nintendo, as the game has to be released on a Nintendo console or handheld for it's characters to appear in the game. If it's a franchise, one game is enough, as proven by the newest character, Cloud. That is, if there isn't a Nintendo game with him I missed...

I swear to Christ, if Shovel Knight isn't in there...

And they should have storage and graphics to bring back Ice Climbers and Pokémon Trainer. Cuz I miss being Squirtle.

And with all the third-party games that have been introduced to the Switch, I'm certain more third-party characters will get an introduction, like Shantae, Crash, Frisk... Maybe bring back Snake, too.

But honestly, I don't think Ridley's gonna be a fighter. He's too damn big, so you should shut up. He was a perfect boss in Brawl, and a great KO-able stage hazard in Wii U.

My biggest hope is for another adventure mode like Subspace Emissary, with fully-animated cutscenes.

I have fun with it. Even though the concept is practically City Trial from Kirby's Air Ride.

It's better than Smash Tour by a mile.

I'm still kinda thrown for a loop. I thought maybe the earliest we'd see something Smash related was E3.

But no, Nintendo felt like breaking the internet that day.
