As for the guys who have nothing outside of "I love you" in terms of personality and, well, life in general, holy shit do i ever sympathize. My last ex was like that. Had no social life, no friends, just went to work, lounged around home and spent time with me. We didn't even have much in common tastes. Liked different games, shows, music, nothing really in common. The only thing we really had together was sex and when that became infrequent everything else was just that much more obvious.
