It would be really useful if it was implemented, though.

It's almost certainly a feature that's included with the standard software suite with which this website operates that can be turned on or off, but can't be removed or hidden.

Moving into the realm of pure speculation, there is a possibility it was functional when the website started 13 years ago and it was turned off due to misuse or abuse.

i really wish it was a feature. i could favorite the tags of my favorite artists on here without having to go through so much of a hassle

hmm that's too bad it's disabled, I would've liked to be able to favorite artist tags but if it was an abusable feature I can understand why it'd be turned off

There is an opposite to the Blacklist called "My Tags" under "Options" on your profile page that holds your most frequently used tags for tagging. Like your Blacklist, your My Tags list is not publicly viewable.

I'm guessing it was either intentionally deactivated before the site started up or afterwards due to abuse, but either way it is deactivated on purpose.
