As a huge fan of the series since Marvel 1, not really. Yeah, it looks alright, and it's neat to see characters like X and Jedah (and Thanos finally getting the representation he deserves.) But at the same time, the "hype" is kind of dead for me.
It's to no fault of the game, but rather Capcom themselves. I expected the Marvel side to look like it does given their vendetta for Fox, but the Capcom side leaves much to be desired. Plus, locking most of the new characters behind a paywall doesn't exactly help matters.

Hype? No. Guess looking forward? I guess. Since the gameplay it's self looks fine. I'm honestly much more interest in knowing what the hell is going on behind the scenes.

A large part of the fighting game community seemed to have boycotted the game as time went by, claiming that DBZ Fighterz will be the game that everyone will clamor towards.

I'm just keeping tabs on the sales figures between the two. Just to see if people will put their money where their mouths are.
