Where is the down vote? or did a special little snowflake didn't like the down vote and now it's gone?

The site had an extensive problem where the downvote button wasn't actually used to downvote shit quality images. Instead it was used to downvote certain images to hell, bringing them below the thresholds people set for themselves so they'd be hidden. This was usually done for content subjects that certain folks didn't enjoy, like gay porn or various different Naruto girls.

I imagine that was part of it.

gelbooru removed their downvote button a while ago. we use the same software as them, so we lost ours when we updated to a newer version anyway.
